The Las Vegas Outlaws are an expansion team new to the AFL and they participate in the National Conference, in the West Division. The team's ownership is through Rockstar Sports, the main figure head being Vince Neil the lead singer of Motely Crue. This expansion team is added to an AFL which has 30 years of experience and trials. The team plays at the Thomas & Mack center on the campus of UNLV. After a year of ups and downs the team's record was substantial enough for the playoffs, however with no clear owner in sight the league removed the team from the playoffs and dissolved the Outlaws. The Outlaws are not the first team to try in Vegas, the Gladiators, now of Cleveland, played in Las Vegas for years before being moved.
