Salary at this moment is not a main concern for Steve as he is looking to advance. Turnover at this position can be high as leagues and teams from indoor leagues have a high probability of folding. His opportunity for advancement is high, as networking and establishing professional relationships are a large part of his current job. Steve is doing this job as a craft of passion, he still plays professional in the PIFL and in the offseason manages the Tropics. He has a lot of on the field responsibilities but the off the field work, like recruiting and planning, is what makes a team successful. His tip for aspiring students entering this industry is to keep pursuing the job you are passionate about.

Ivo Schoenberner
Interview
Report
Ivo has played football professionally for the Dresden Monarchs, Berlin Rebels and for the German National team, champions in 2014. He is a strong fullback and has the stat line to prove it. In order to continue his dreams he has come to the United States vying for a chance to play. He has had a contract with the Pineywoods Bucks. Unfortunately as in the nature of starting leagues the team has folded and now Ivo must look elsewhere to play. He has lined up tryouts for the new MLFB (Major League Football), here he will showcase his talent in hopes of earning another contract. Ivo does not have an agent and is funding his entire experience in America, trying out for teams, by himself. He has tried hard to get his name out there by maintaining a Youtube account, Hudl account and a Europlayers account. Ivo is 24 years old and is looking to achieve his dream.
2015 Stats: 12 starts, 9 rushes, 32 yards, 2 TDs... primary blocker for 2600 yards of offense
2014 Stats: 14 starts, 22 rushes, 122 yards, 4 TDs, 17 catches, 201 yards, 1 TD. Named Offensive MVP
Starting FB for German National Team.
Agency in this realm.
Agents in these indoor and semi-pro leagues are not stable positions. Approximately half of the players have agents and the other half do not and operate in their own best interest. These agents must know all levels from the Indoor Football League (IFL) to the Canadian Football League (CFL). It is important as there are multiple leagues and knowing their level of play can assist in getting a player a contract. Agents usually find their talent directly out of college and try to set up tryouts with professional teams. These agents have different level of supporting their players. Some agents fund the travel and lodging for their players while others put that responsibility on the player. In these leagues lower then the NFL funding is very tight for all parties involved. Agents at this level generally represent multiple players of equal ability and make calls or send out informational emails of their players, encouraging a team to try them out.
